E3: Sierra announces new F.E.A.R. action for PC and Xbox 360

New stand-alone expansions bringing fresh horror action to the two platforms

Both PC and Xbox 360 are getting a new dose of F.E.A.R., Sierra announcing new stand-alone expansion packs for the two platforms this afternoon.

F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate on PC, explains the publisher, features a brand new combat team in an "all-new experience" that presents a different perspective of the events that occur at Armacham. Similar to Gearbox's Half-Life expansions, Perseus Mandate's storyline runs parallel to that of the original FPS with players filling the combat boots of a new F.E.A.R. soldier and battling new enemies.

Xbox 360, meanwhile, is getting F.E.A.R. Files, which contains Perseus Mandate and the Extraction Point expansion that released for PC.

Both expansions are due to release in the autumn. And that's all the info we have currently.
