Treasurer and Vice President of Finance and Administration


The Office of the Treasurer and Vice President, Finance and Administration, provides support to the Institution in the following areas; finance, including endowment, budgeting, accounting, grants administration and strategic planning; building services, including conference facilities and tenant services; and human resources, including recruitment, benefits and special fellowship programs; and has oversight responsibility for the Library.

FINANCE:
Brookings is financed largely by its endowment and by the support of philanthropic foundations, corporations, and private individuals. Its funds are devoted to carrying out its own research and educational activities. It also undertakes some unclassified government contract studies, reserving the right to publish its findings.


ADMINISTRATION:
Brookings provides comprehensive services to its employees, affiliates and tenants including all building services, security, research library, conference space, catering, building maintenance, duplicating, mail and reception. Staff services also include recruitment, payroll and a wide range of benefits.
