REGISTRATION POLICIES

Payment in full is required for all residential and international programs. Approved Government PO's do not guarantee registration for these programs.

Written confirmation will be sent within 10 business days of Brookings' receipt of registration and payment information.

PAYMENT
Submission of registration information does not guarantee space in a program. Registration is only guaranteed upon receipt of payment information. Fees may by paid by check, money order, credit card (VISA, MasterCard, and American Express), wire transfer, government purchase card (IMPAC), or approved government purchase order. Payment in full is required for international and residential programs. An approved government PO does not guarantee registration for these programs. Pricing for internationally based programs, in particular, is subject to changes in exchange rates, which may cause increases in course fees up to 30 days prior to the program start date. Program fees and course schedules are subject to change without notice. Please call or visit our website for the most current information regarding program fees and schedules. Brookings does not assume responsibility for travel costs if, for any reason, Brookings Executive Education cancels a course. We will make every effort to immediately notify registrants of a cancellation and will work with participants to find an appropriate course into which they can transfer. Such transfers will not be subject to the transfer fees discussed below.

SPECIAL DISCOUNT
Group discounts are available on a select basis, and restrictions apply. Please call for further information. All fellowships, international programs, and residential programs are exempt from any such discounts. There are no early registration or partial attendance fee options.

CANCELLATIONS, SUBSTITUTIONS AND TRANSFERS
Written notice is required for all cancellations, transfers and substitutions. Send correspondence to registrar@brookings.edu or fax to (202) 797-4363. International and residential programs require at least 45 day notification for cancellations and/or transfer in order for the participant to receive full credit or refund, no partial refunds or credits are offered less than 45 days prior to the start date of the program. All other programs require notification at least 30 calendar days prior to the start date of the program. Cancellations submitted after these deadlines will be subject to the fees and participants will be billed in accordance with these policies. Additional charges may be assessed in cases where educational materials were mailed out prior to receiving a cancellation notice. Failure to notify BCEE of a cancellation will result in complete forfeiture of the full program fee. Transfer credits can be applied toward another program with a start date within 12 months from the date we receive a cancellation notice. A participant may only transfer once without penalty. Failure to register for a program within 12 months will result in complete forfeiture of the full program fee. A transferee will be required to pay any tuition fee increase that occurs between the original and new program. Discounts do not apply to the transfer of credits. Payment of any difference is expected at the time of transfer. Substitutions are allowed without penalty and strongly encouraged. However, Brookings Executive Education reserves the right to accept or reject substitutes for programs requiring minimum management levels.
