Without a doubt, the biggest changes in TV in the new century were the rise in the number of reality TV shows and the growth of pay TV. But, while both of these have made an impact on the TV WEEK Logie Awards, it’s apparent that fresh young soapie stars are still extremely popular with TV WEEK’s readers and voters.
The Logies themselves have become much more glamorous, with TV stars who often spend their days wearing work boots and jeans while they renovate people’s houses or make over their backyards relishing the opportunity to frock up at the awards.
