The Rasmussen Consumer Index fell for the fifth straight day on Friday. At 102.3, the Index is at its lowest level since August 1, 2006. The Index is also down two points from yesterday, eight and a half points from a week ago and seven points from a month ago. Nationally, 28% of adults believe their personal finances are getting better these days. That's compared to 42% who think their finances are getting worse and 27% who aren't sure. The Rasmussen Investor Index plummeted nearly rebounded nearly a point today to 124.3. The Investor Index continues to fluctuate between 122.9 and 131.9 so far during the month of September. Today's Index is down a little over seven points from last week, four points from a month ago and is ten points below its reading this time last year.
