This site may be used to search a bibliographic database of approximately 39,000 selected British official publications within this period. The database includes details such as: Title, Author, Series, Publisher, detailed Abstract and Library of Congress Subject Headings. Text images are not provided within this site at the moment. The originals of these documents are held by a small number of specialist libraries in the UK with holdings of official publications. The aim of this web site is to provide detailed abstracts for selected key Parliamentary Papers of the period. The abstracts may be freely used for education and research purposes, provided that the BOPCRIS source is acknowledged. In time it is hoped to provide full text images for these publications.

The publications may be browsed via subject terms. The Standard Search used to locate publications, but a large number of hits may be returned. If more specific search terms are known, for example, date, Title or key word, the Advanced Search may be used to locate publications of interest.
