R&B Duo Nina Sky Signs To Polo Grounds/J

R&B duo Nina Sky has inked a deal with Polo Grounds/J Records. The group plans to release its sophomore album, "The Musical," early next year.

"The Musical" features production by Cipha Sounds, Cool & Dre, Salaam Remi, Ryan Leslie and Scott Storch. Trey Songz and Rick Ross make guest appearances.

The album was originally slated for an early 2007 release via Universal Republic, but the Polo Grounds version will be augmented with a few new tracks to be recorded in the coming weeks.

Nina Sky's 2004 self-titled debut album peaked at No. 21 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart.
