Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, Jennifer Ehle, Tim DeKay and Henry Czerny have been cast opposite Amber Tamblyn in "The Russell Girl," a Hallmark Hall of Fame movie for CBS that is entering production in Toronto.

The movie centers on Sarah Russell (Tamblyn), a 23-year-old aspiring medical school student who makes a rare visit to her small hometown to share some important news with her family but instead finds herself attempting to confront her past.

Mastrantonio and DeKay will play her parents, while Ehle and Czerny will play a couple who live across the street from her family.

Rounding out the cast are Daniel Clark as Russell's brother, Paul Wesley as an ex-boyfriend and Ben Lewis and Max Morrow as the sons of the couple across the street.

"Russell Girl" is executive produced by Brent Shields and co-executive produced by Stefanie Epstein. Jeff Bleckner is directing from an original script by Jill Blotevogel. The movie's airdate has yet to be determined.

Mastrantonio, an Oscar and Tony nominee, recently recurred on CBS' "Without a Trace," while Tony winner Ehle next appears in the feature film "Pride and Glory." DeKay is on the small screen in HBO's "Tell Me You Love Me," while Czerny's credits include Showtime's "The Tudors."
