As well as providing an authoritative voice and leadership for UK science, we are able to provide objective advice for government and policymakers on science, its relationship with society and science education.

The Society publishes printed and online journals, reports and books. Publications can be browsed, ordered and purchased online.
This is the Library’s most rapidly growing collection. The catalogue now contains over 10,000 science policy items in the form of books, journals and grey literature - consultation papers, committee reports, etc. - documents which can often be difficult to trace through conventional academic libraries and booksellers.
Recent reports on issues such as the role of school support staff, the reform of 14-19 education, and the assessment of 14-19 science learning. Teachers are encouraged to get involved in the development of all our projects – we welcome your input.
