SAUCIER --
A Saucier man died this morning after his SUV ran off Herman Ladner Road and flipped, ejecting him through the sunroof, said Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove.When units arrived, Marvin Cuevas, 57, was pinned under his 1991 Nissan Pathfinder, Hargrove said. Not wearing his seatbelt, Cuevas died as a result of head, chest and neck injuries.
Sheriff deputies responded the accident at 4:55 a.m.
Cuevas apparently was going too fast to negotiate a sharp left curve on Herman Ladner Road, which is north of Mississippi 53.
A toxicology report, which is standard proceedure, is pending.
