Free workshops for learning groups are available to accompany the exhibition.
Participants explore reporting and representation in the media,
examine images, stories and headlines and make links between news
media and understanding history.

Key Stage 3 & 4, A-level and FE groups
Workshops for Secondary and FE students examine 'the front page' as a cultural text and investigate the connections between newspapers and our understanding of history.
Participants explore the links between having a free press, democracy and citizenship and discuss the tension between reporting news and making news out of reports.
Key Stage 2 groups
These workshops focus on the different forms of visual communication within newspapers using creative activities to explore the impacts of words and images. Participants contemplate the future of newspapers and how they impact on our lives.
