tektonik^ are a new electronic duo comprising musician/producers Robbie Bronnimann & Andy Ross.

Robbie Bronnimann
Although coming from a training in classical music the lure of music technology was a strong one. Robbie quickly became a keen follower of synths, samplers and drum machines and the vibrant electronic music scene they spawned. It wasn’t long before he became a programmer and artist in his own right. With his growing love of the dance scene he made his first trance cuts for the ‘Lakota’ label which positioned him well for a future in dance music. Since then he has had 2 albums & numerous 12” vinyl releases under the name ‘dba’ with his partner Shaz Sparks on the ‘dtox’ label, which have established him as a player in the progressive/trance scene. Most recently he has been remixing for the likes of Chicane, Tekara, Ferry Corsten, Howard Jones, Art Of Trance v Pob & Euphoria & has just finished co-producing/writing Howard Jones forthcoming album.

Andy Ross
Son of legendary jazz saxophonist Ronnie Ross, Andy spent his early years listening to a mix of his father’s jazz and his own taste in contemporary classics of the period. 80’s aficionados might recall Andy’s former endeavours with chart bothering troubadours ‘Immaculate Fools’. He then went on to produce and programme on countless projects, from producing two albums for Howard Jones through to work with Tori Amos and Propaganda. A lifelong passion for the the work of minimalist composer Steve Reich combined with a fascination for the medium of electronic music has led to this most recent project
tek^tonik.

The tek^tonik remix of Art Of Trance "Mongoose" is currently causing seismic waves throughout clubland, DJ Forums & IT & Club playlists - Single Of The Week on AnjunaBeats Trance Around The World show on Ministry Of Sound & Single Of The Week with Matt Darey (currently his No. 1) & Adam White on Euphoria, No 4 on van Dyk's chart + plays on his Deutsche radio show...out Nov 1st.

In the pipeline is tek^tonik's remix of Moogwai's seminal track, 'Viola.' They said it couldn't be done - it has - this is debatedly better than the Original - coming out early 2005.
