Foster exits All3Media

Agent leaves post after selling business

LONDON -- U.K. agent Michael Foster, whose clients include British thesps Julie Christie and Billie Piper, has ankled All3Media two years after selling his talent business to the U.K. shingle.

Foster, rumored to have been negotiating an exit from All3Media since before Christmas, has agreed to buy out his slice of the Artist Rights Group (ARG), co-founded with Sue Latimer in 2001, and will retain his client list.

He will now operate under new combo MFManagement, which has won financial backing.

In a statement All3Media chief exec Steve Morrison said: "Michael has felt for some time that he needed to take his part of the ARG business in a different direction, and so we have reached agreement with him to buy out his part of the business."

Latimer will stay aboard at All3Media as ARG's managing director.

Foster and Latimer sold ARG to the so-called super-indie two years ago.
