FRV Media, ZDF Ent tout 'Dragon' adaptation

"Dragon," the first co-production of Canada, Germany and South Korea, will be the highlight from distribs FRV Media and ZDF Enterprises at Mipcom.

The stop motion-animated "Dragon" was produced by Cite-Amerique (Canada), Scopas (Germany) and Image Plus (Korea).

The series is based on "The Dragon Tales," by children's author Dav Pilkey, best known for his "Captain Underpants" book series. The books were adapted for television by Steve Westren.

FRV will license the skein in North and South America, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. ZDF maintains the European rights and Image Plus will oversee the Asian rights (excluding Japan).
