Who should play Wonder Woman?
"People have talked about Sandra Bullock ... she's too old and so is Catherine Zeta-Jones. I think it should be an unknown and about 20 years old."
That's "Wonder Woman" actress Lynda Carter speaking to the press about the casting of the upcoming big-screen version of the famed hit TV series.
Exactly which actress is best fit to play the iconic superhero has been the buzz of Tinseltown for weeks now, with younger Hollywood starlets such as Katie Holmes and "O.C." beauty Mischa Barton rumored to be in the running for the role. But with all due respect to both actresses -- well, that's bullshit.
The person to pull off the post-millennial version of "Wonder Woman" needs to have physical strength, extreme smarts and a sense of command. Katie Holmes can't stop giggling in public, and Mischa Barton looks like she can't even lift a carrot to her mouth.
So who would be the best actress to play Diana Prince, a.k.a. Wonder Woman -- a mighty Amazon from Paradise Island who, as the song goes, is "in her satin tights, fighting for our rights, and the old Red, White and Blue."
