Due to the Clipsal 500 round of the GT Championship not being shown on Tuesday April 15 on Fox 2 as advised it will now be shown tomorrow night (6th May) on Fox 2 at 9.30pm

Allan Simonsen isn't supersticious. But when you have two DNF's in a row, whilst leading each race (Dubai and Barcelona), with the same co-drivers it's a priority to try and get that monkey off your back

The Round points from both Clipsal and the AGP along with the outright championship standings have been revised as Hector Lester (Ferrari 430) is ineligible to receive Championship points

The reason for this is because Hector Lester was competing under a new licence system recently implemented by CAMS which means anyone competing with a foreign licence and a Foreign Participation Visa under FIA ISC Regulation 18 Para 5 is not allowed to score championship points

Apologies for any inconvenience. The revised points are now available under the 'Round Results' for the respective rounds and 'Championship standings'

Allan Simonsen has opened his FIA GT bank account in a very positive way, at the opening round of the 2008 Championship, by helping take third place in what experts have described as possibly the best FIA GT race of all time

It is with regret that AGTSG has to withdraw from the Oran Park round of the CAMS National Racing Championship due to insufficient entries, brought about by the confusion caused by CAMS decision to award Porsche Drivers Challenge Category Management Agreement to Challenge Cup Promoters

• Young New Zealand driver Andy Knight who was a late addition in the driver line-up in the Ferrari 360GT to also be piloted by Ted Huglin and Craig Baird completed six laps in the car in Practice 3.

The top three contenders for the 2007 Australian GT Championship were on top of the time sheets for the first practice session at Melbourne’s Sandown Park circuit today (Friday December 7).

Last weekend at Phillip Island GP Circuit a young man named Tim Blanchard won the 2007 Australian Formula Ford Championship and in the process delivered Sonic Motor Racing Services its second title victory for the season.

Washington (Lamborghini Gallardo) was fourth followed by Will Davison(Aston Martin DBRS9) in fifth. Davison was in second until the second last lap when he came unstuck at Honda corner

In an unfortunate incident during Friday practice Ian Palmer in his Lamborghini Gallardo and Kevin Miller in the Ferrari 430 came together heavily at turn 4

Miller spun and Palmer with limited vision in his Lamborghini had no where to go and the two collided head on

Considerable damage was done to both cars and both were unable to be fixed for the rest of the weekend. Both drivers are fine and we look forward to having them back on track at Phillip Island

WTF pairing and Sonic Motor Racing Services stable-mates Sven Burchartz and Jon Trende are gearing up for a big weekend at Queensland Raceway as they contest Round four of the Australian GT Championship at the famous “paperclip”.

John Kaias drove his Aston Martin DBRS9 for the first time at Winton last Thursday. Complete in new livery the team rolled out the stunning Aston to a number of keen onlookers.

Not only does the the car look sensational but the sound was equally impressive as the Aston roared down the main straight. Kaias was simply ecstatic with his new machine, evident by the smile on his face when he arrived back in pit lane after the first session.

Experienced campaigner John Bowe was on hand to offer advice throughout the day and both Kaias and Bowe managed some very impressive times on the cars first outing.

The Aston will make its debut at next weekends fourth round of the Australian GT Championship at Queensland Raceway 26-27th May, this is certainly a sight and a sound not to be missed!!!

John Kaias saw his new Aston Martin DBRS9 for the first time late yesterday. The car took longer than expected to come through customs but was greeted by an excited Kaias who says the car 'is incredible....its so much better in the flesh!!!'

The car was taken back to the workshop last night where the crew will work tirelessly to get familair with the new edition before it hits the track for the first time on Thursday at a test day

John Kaias' Aston Martin DBRS9 is currently going through customs at Melbourne airport after arriving safely in the country late Monday night

John expects to be able to pick up his new toy on Thursday provided it clears customs in time and see his new arrival in the flesh for the very first time

Ian Palmer has sat in his new Lamborghini Gallardo for the first time and wasted no time celebrating its arrival over the weekend!

The Palmers will test the Gallardo this Tuesday before heading for the first hit out at the Mountain

Ian and Andrea are ecstatic with their new edition and sincerely thank Gary Washington for his assistance in getting the Gallardo to Australian shores

We wish Team Palmer all the best for Tuesdays test and their first outing with the new Gallado

Palmer will hit Mount Panorama at 10.10-10.40 this Friday for the GT Practice session

Ian and Andrea Palmer have taken delivery of their brand new Lamborghini Gallardo GT3. The Gallardo touched down in Sydney yesterday and was then transported to Brisbane. The Palmers have endured many hard years battling with the Honda NSX and are looking forward to enjoying their motorsport even more with their brand new car.

The Palmers have been a great support of the Championship and we are thrilled to have Ian and Andrea back on the track!!!
