USOC Mission: To support United States Olympic and Paralympic athletes in achieving sustained competitive excellence and preserve the Olympic ideals, and thereby inspire all Americans.

Financial Info The USOC operates on a calendar year basis for operational and financial reporting purposes. The organization publishes an annual report, which includes its audited financial statements. The USOC also files an annual Form 990 with the Internal Revenue Service.

Athlete Ombudsman John W. Ruger is the USOC Athlete Ombudsman, providing independent advice to elite athletes and NGBs, assisting in mediating disputes and developing USOC policy that secures the rights and interests of athletes.
