 Despite my best intentions of completing more work on the DarkAct MOD for Blood2, I finally realise that it just isnt going to happen. One of the main reasons for this is purely demotivation on my part and the realization that after working flat out on a PC all day, I wasnt really into "working" on the MOD in my spare time. This led to the lack of updates over the course of the last year. The other problem was that Blood2 never ran on my newest PC properly so I could never test the latest changes. The final straw came earlier this year when a virus caused me to reformat my system. With no backup of the latest changes, all the last years work was gone! This meant that a hell of a lot of the latest (and best) stuff was gone for ever including a map that I had worked on for hundreds of hours (my fault I know for not backing up...duh). So, I have finally come to the conclusion that it's time for the DarkAct Project to close down. This is a real pity as even today I've got loads of ideas that havent been touched by any FPS - and the main DarkAct gametype was never revealed to the public... For any newer blood2 players (where have you been!!) and for posterity, I have left the download links below. One final note to say thanks to all of you who have emailed me over the last few years - I may be terrible at actually getting around to replying, but I did read and consider every idea that was passed on. There are too many names (actually I cant remember them all) and so as not to show any favouritism I will omit the list from this site. You know who you are. guzz 16/04/2002
