Copyright Reform
On June 12th, 2008, the Honourable Josée Verner, Minister of Canadian Heritage, Status of Women and Official Languages and Minister for La Francophonie, and the Honourable Jim Prentice, Minister of Industry, introduced amendments to the Copyright Act to bring it in line with advances in technology and current international standards.
