Gorman collects 250th career win as Lions top UCF

Sporting a new goalkeeper and welcoming back one of its captains, the Penn State men's soccer team opened up its season with a 2-0 victory over Central Florida at the Bert and Iris Wolstein Soccer Classic in Columbus, Ohio. The win gave coach Barry Gorman his 250th career victory as the Nittany Lions' head coach, by far the most in school history.

Goalie position remains unclear

If a Central Florida attacker dribbles past Penn State defender Andres Casais at some point this afternoon, it will likely be the goalkeeper's duty to then make the defensive stop.
