Tower Hamlets has 98 schools with 37,500 pupils. As well as supporting these, the council provides a range of education and training related services aimed at improving skills and boosting achievements for all.

THeGrid

Tower Hamlets now has a new, expanding website for all involved in education. The Tower Hamlets Grid for Learning, called THeGrid is now up and running.

THeGrid means parents, school staff and pupils can connect to schoolwork at home, share ideas and other work. It is becoming indispensable for everyone involved in education in Tower Hamlets.
