The
BBC Essex Helpline is co-ordinated and presented by Angela Lodge,
along with a team of volunteers, who handle between 30,000 and 50,000
calls a year.
The Helpline is open to the public on 01245 348348 from 10am
till 4pm Monday to Friday, with a 24-hour answerphone running at
all times.
With
seven live bulletins every weekday on air at: 0940; 1030; 1130;
1220 (no 1220 bulletin on Fridays) 1330; 1530 and 1620.
The Searchline, looking for your long lost friends and relatives
is on air every Thursday at 1345 and Petline, following the work
of the county's rescue centres can be heard on Fridays at 1445.
