No, I don't get any cold, hard cash from Amazon, but I do get a commission
on sales generated though my site. I can then use that commission to buy more
books and gifts from Amazon.com. Yes, it is a vicious circle, but it's one
that's trapped me for the time being.
OK, here's the skinny: sites like this require a little TLC and a little
scratch for Web hosting. I'm not looking to make a living from this site
-- I do it because I do truly love baseball and I want to share my
experiences with other true-blue baseball fans -- but it would be nice to
have a few dollars, if only to buy a beer or two at the ballpark or
sustain my reading appetite.
So, because I:
- read a lot of baseball books;
- am eager to share my reviews of said books with you; and
- can earn a commission on sales generated by books sold through this site;
I am presenting reviews and recommendations for books, magazines, and selected CD-ROMs. Enjoy.
