Contacting the MayorThe Public Liaison Unit (PLU) deals with all enquiries and correspondence on behalf of the Mayor and any enquiry requiring a response must be made in writing. Outstanding correspondenceThe Mayor would like to thank you for your interest in his work and he is keen to answer all queries as fully as possible. As you will appreciate, he has received a very large amount of correspondence from Londoners since the election and it is proving quite challenging to respond as quickly as we would like. Please note that transport related queries will be referred to Transport for London (TfL) for them to reply. However, the Mayor is committed to responding to all appropriate correspondence and everything is being done to reply to your query as quickly as possible. For complaints about transport services please refer to information on London TravelWatch, which is the statutory watchdog for most transport operators in and around London. Transport for London (TfL) is the integrated body responsible for the capital's transport system. Its role is to implement the Mayor's Transport Strategy for London and manage the transport services across the capital for which the Mayor has responsibility.
