As part of a package of powers announced by the Government in 14 July 2006, the Mayor is chairing a new London Skills and Employment Board which will develop a strategy for adult skills and employment in London.

Disabled students in London is a review of statistics, research and policy developments relating to disabled students in further and higher education, including students with learning difficulties.

Environment

The London Schools Environment Awards aim to develop primary school children’s sense of responsibility for their environment. The areas which the schools focus on are litter, waste and recycling, energy, transport, biodiversity, and water.
