But there are some good answers. The Center for Transportation Studies (CTS) at the University of Minnesota supports the search for those good answers through research, education and outreach activities.

Mn/DOT and their partners are working with property owners to design and construct living snow fences that will control the blowing snow and fit into the property owners land use/farming operation.
