Singing those post-election blues - November 13, 2008 - Now that the two-year ordeal known as the 2008 presidential campaign is over, I find myself with a form of post election blues. I would compare it to post-partum blues, but I'm not exactly sure that I'm qualified to know exactly how that feels, though I witnessed it once up close and in person. I suppose I could more reasonably compare an Obama victory to the way I felt after the White Sox Won the World Series, if I were an Obama voter. Voting for McCain was more like being a lifelong Cubs fan, I suspect.
