CHRIS CORDT cordt@kjrh.com Chris Cordt joined the 2NEWS team in 2005 and produces 2NEWS at 6. He previously produced 2NEWS Weekend Mornings, Green Country's only weekend morning newscast.
Before he moved to Tulsa, Chris worked at KHBS/KHOG-TV and Clear Channel Radio, both in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Cordt earned journalism degrees from Texas A&M University - Commerce and Coffeyville Community College.
He is a member of The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, Tulsa's Young Professionals, Aircraft Owners and Pilot's Association and is a mentor with Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
Chris has been honored several times for his work, most recently winning an Emmy Award for Best Daytime Newscast.
In his free time, Chris enjoys going to church, riding his bike, playing softball, getting his picture taken with celebrities and taking in all that Tulsa has to offer.
