Cedar's Deli Hashwa

2 lbs. ground sirloin
1 1/2 c. Uncle Ben's rice, soaked in hot water 1 hour
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp cinnamon
3 c. chicken broth
Slivered, toasted almonds and more cinnamon to garnish

Saute ground sirloin in 1 stick butter with salt, pepper and cinnamon.  Leave undrained or only slightly drained.  Drain the soaking rice and mix well with seasoned beef.  Add chicken broth and bring to boil.  Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes.  Should remain slightly moist.  Remove from heat and leave in pot.  Top with other half stick of butter and generous amount of cinnamon.  Let sit 20 minutes to allow butter to melt.  Transfer to platter and top with almonds before serving.
