Financing of residential property in Northern Germany and Berlin

From 1 December 2008, Nykredit International Lending offers mortgage financing of private residential property in Northern Germany and Berlin.

Danes dreaming of city breaks in their own flats in Berlin or other cities in Northern Germany may now raise mortgage loans to finance their housing dreams. Through partnerships with local estate agents, we cover the following areas:

Loan size
Basically, we offer financing of up to 80% of the value of a property and loan terms of up to 30 years. The value is determined in cooperation with a local estate agent appointed by Nykredit.

The minimum loan amount is EUR 67,000.

Loan types
All loans are based on bonds trading at NASDAQ OMX, Copenhagen and commonly used in connection with mortgage loans in Denmark. The loans are funded by bonds in EUR and are repaid as annuity loans. The following loans are available:

Fixed-rate loans
Floating-rate loans
Nykredit RenteMax® carrying a floating interest rate and an interest rate cap of 6% applicable up to ten years.

The loans are offered as Pauselån® with interest-only periods up to 30 years.
