One of the most important aspects of being a Soldier is working successfully with a team. It tests your skills as an individual and the talents of every Soldier around you. There are many opportunities to receive Unit Training throughout your Army career, whether you're an Active Duty Soldier or in the Army Reserve. This is where you gain the hands-on experience that prepares you for real-world missions.
You will either work within your own Army unit (for example, during an Army Reserve Drill), or join other units in an expanded Field Training Exercise (FTX) to accomplish a much larger, more complex mission.
An FTX can involve one Army unit or multiple units during a two-week annual training event. Explore the field training exercises below.

When the Army Reserve is called to action, these Soldiers must be ready and properly trained. One way they stay sharp is by practicing and refining their skills during Army Reserve Unit Training Assemblies. Explore the different Reserve Unit Training Assemblies below.
