Golden and Messiah :) I tried. It was A LOT of fun! I was hoping we could have more time on learning the new maps but.. with only like 20 min of learning each map, it was difficult to perform well. In fact the only good game I played was with Messiah on modified Storm Sector 7. It was simliar to the original map so it was easier to learn. I was leading the game by 3-0 till Messiah took control of the quad and tied the game at 3-3. I was so shocked in the sudden death because we were given the old SS map with different location of items.. We didn't have any time learning the new location before the sudden death so we were both lost tring to look for red armor and rocket launcher. Messiah found the Rockets first and my ass was on fire from start to finish. I lost at the sudden death but it still was an exciting game. The game with R-Gauss and I took place where I had no clue what the weapon impact or how the map looked like. Basically, We ran around looking for weapons to grab and find each other. At the end it was pretty clear R-Gauss knew the map much better than I did and there was no chance for me to strike back and a man with red armor + 200 health + Quad. When Grindage and Messiah played this map, the game was actually pretty fun cause both had no clue about the map. But Messiah knew how to get the quad and Grindage was confused where to go most of the time and that was pretty much what gave Messiah the win. The critical moment of the game is when Messiah locked himself up in a chamber and had to wait till Grindage to open it for him. During this time, Grindage jumped into a freezing water accidentally. Since all of us didn't know how to get out Grindage got a suicide kill. After that suicide, Grindage started to play very aggressively. He played really well but Messiah came out victorious. Gauss and Messiah played on the same Gibbler map. ;) I think Gauss weren't very aware of the strategies in Gibbler. Gauss kept on trying to get the quad using the elevator which was a big mistake.. Its always tactically superior to use the window entrance that leads to rocket to get the quad. I don't think he ever made that jump once in the game. Good games to Gauss, Messiah, and Grindage :) We had great time and Ion Storm family was as friendly as anyone I've met so far. Tom Hall was such an eccentric guy :) He's soo kewl and I look forward to playing his game Anachronox. As far as Daikatana is concerned. The game owns HARD. Each episode has defined a new kind of deathmatch. I bet people's favorite will turn out to be Episode 1 and 2. The weapon usage and balance are abnormally good and there is just something about those two episode that makes me want to play more and more. Episode 3 is ok too but I didn't get to play much in that level. Episode 4 just felt weak but thats probably just me cause I lost to Gauss in that level :P According to Grindage and Messiah, Episode 4 is by far the best. I guess its just up to preference of the gamers. But there is a favorite weapon of all time :) Daikatana! I'll make u guys suffer a bit and dream about it more but all I can say about it is that its mind boggling and the satisfaction of using it is better than bitch slapping ;) I only saw the introduction of single player game. It was like watching a movie. Zealot or Darkviper will probably brief u guys on it since they got to play it :) Anyways I wanna leave u guys with one last GOOD news!! Hiro got a voice surgery!!! YAY YAY!! ;)
