Do weights or aerobics burn more calories?

> In a recent University of Colorado study, 10 men completed three different routines on three different days: They rode a stationary bike for almost 50 minutes at moderate intensity, performed a 60-minute strength circuit with four sets of 10 resistance exercises or did no activity. The calorie burn was only slightly higher during the aerobic exercise than during the strength training, but there was no difference in the number of calories or the amount of fat burned over 24 hours on the cycling and weight-lifting days.
