Wrexham lost 3-2 against Chester City in a behind closed doors friendly at Colliers Park yesterday.
Nine players with first team experience lined up for Wrexham who also gave a run-out to trialist striker Wes Ryder, who has come all the way from Australia.

The 21-year-old from Northam, who lives in Perth, plays for Inglewood United and had been recommended by former Reds' player Steve Stacey.

"It would be nice to find a club but I don't know what's happening at the moment or how long I will be here," said Ryder, who played for Australian Schoolboys against the home nations in 2006.

"I've been a bit nervous but it is the same for everyone who comes in new and my first training session felt okay."
