About the project and display

The discoveries were made during The Renewal of St Martin-in-the-Fields, a £36m building project to provide a sequence of beautiful, practical and inspirational spaces that will serve the community, visitors and those in need.

Over £30m has been raised so far thanks to the Heritage Lottery Fund and many other generous donors.

The excavations were carried out by the Museum of London Archaeology Service.
