Chinese Want To Buy the Big 3 Automakers
All the Shock Doctrine fanatics cheering to drive the the Big 3 into bankruptcy "restructuring," like Mitt Romney, might want to think about the implications of this.

It speaks a great deal of the Republican Party that in the midst of a historic economic downturn they have chosen one of their major issues to be the right to make virtually unlimited salaries.
Michelle Malkin wrote a book called: In Defense of Internment. The book essentially defends the internment of Japanese Americans during World War Two.
Sex sells, and thus the only thing CNN covers, the only thing the general public knows, is the salacious stuff. There is so much more.
If you thought the Republican primary field was a bit of a joke, wait until you get a closer look at the front runners for the vice presidential slot.
One of Palin's first acts in office was to put a $150 bounty on the heads of her state's wolves, allegedly with the goal of increasing the moose and caribou population.
If it's not racism that's causing the disparity in media treatment of these preachers, then what is it?
After the Today Show used video clips of me talking (ranting, to some) about the racist history of the Mormons as a lead-in to Matt Lauer's interview of Mitt Romney, I feel compelled to clarify the obvious.
Swingers are the moderate middle. They don't vote based on the tiny letter next to a candidate's name. They vote based on the policies that person puts forth.
There's no inherited privilege in Michelle Obama, only achievement through intelligence and education, and the "victimology" is that of a black woman living in a thoroughly racist society.
Meg Whitman, Romney and their Fortune 500 crowd implied that their success at Bain, eBay, et al, would translate into a winning campaign. This has not happened. At all.
If dirty tricks and threats can work to stop unionizing in the workplace, why can't they be used on the American public? This week, busi...
If an undecided voter responded strongly to the yelling from Mitt, Rudy and Palin, and then watched McCain, they were probably disappointed and let-down by McCain.
Like the nagging relative or the smug married friend, this inquiring mind was asking of each of these unmarried couples, "So why aren't you married?"
Republican politicians all seem to be trying their hand at historic re-creationism to transform both the history and future of the Republican party into their own image.
The new McCain campaign tactic unfolded in the aftermath of The New Yorker cover and taps into the notion that black people can ascend to popular status only as entertainers.

Rush and the privileged class of bankers, and insurance industry fat cats who have ruined the financial system do not get it. We want socialism. I repeat, we want socialism. We want banks that are nationalized and operate with transparency and integrity, we want universal health care, we want affordable higher education, we want excellent elementary and secondary schools, and we want infrastructure that allows creative minds to develop energy efficiency for the 21st century. But most importantly of all, we want equality and dignity. We do not want to be exploited by an artificial hierarchical system of incompetent managers. Government is in place to provide FOR THE PEOPLE, not for an oligarchy comprising 5% of the population. Socialism is American! We have been evolving into this system for more than 100 years.
Recall. Rush only speaks to 8% of the population. That's small potatoes and not everyone who listens to him agrees with him. Some people have very strong stomachs and can listen to and laugh at or with him. Americans have to make a major decision. With several European nations (socialist, according to Rush) passing us in the best standard of living category, we must decide if we want to follow their lead and pay higher taxes to get a better standard of living for all Americans or continue the dog eat dog Republican model which yields higher levels of poverty but more money for the rich. It's a decision we must think about and make.
Rush would never run for public office, and give up the opportunity to continue to rape the public airwaves for millions a year. Running for office would also mean he'd have to try to tell the truth and actually make sense.
The real problem is people who listen to Limbaugh. If he was no longer on the air, someone else would come along to fill the void. Because there's enough people out there who think like him. It's these ignorant Americans that drag us down. I'm a big believer in everyone having an equal voice, but when the idiots among us make life harder for everyone, perhaps it's time to give these people their own country instead of ruining ours.
Eric, great job! I've been waiting for somebody to point out Limbaugh's faulty premise that people want President Obama to succeed because he is black. I guess it hasn't entered his fat head that a successful administration would be good for the county.
I particularly appreciated your "blowed up real good" SCTV reference.
