Children are like angelic seers....they see and hear things that the the adult mind can no longer grasp.
Children do love the name with all the vowels, it is fun to say, but he has "kid charisma", they know the real thing when they see it!!!! Kid's pick up on phonies. We're a lucky country to have him!!!!
My 3 year old is also obsessed with President Obama - he points out his picture in magazines in the stores, on TV interviews etc. He also added the word "Obama" to a song my husband wrote for gigs. I guess kids get change?!?
