PM: Egyptian national strategic plan until 2050

Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif urged on Saturday 21/2/2009 the supreme council for urban planning and development to focus on demographic and economic dimensions while preparing their urban development plan as well as carrying out development projects, especially in Sinai.

Cabinet Spokesman Magdi Radi said during a meeting under Nazif, the council spelled out its vision on means of carrying out urban development in Egypt and its medium and long-term strategic plans to end in 2030 and 2050 respectively.

Chairman of the Egyptian Cabinet Information, Decision Support Center (IDSC) Maged Osman and Chairman of the General Organization for Physical Planning (GOPP) Mostafa Madbouli gave an excellent presentation on special proposals for this approach.
