Wood And Manson Reunited?

Evan Rachel Wood and Marilyn Manson have sparked speculation their relationship is back on after the rocker was reportedly overheard calling the actress his "girlfriend."

The pair, who dated from 2006 until October last year, was allegedly spotted leaving the W Hotel in Los Angeles together hours before "The Wrestler" actress appeared at the Oscars on Sunday.

According to New York gossip column Page Six, Manson emerged from the building first and "said he was waiting for his girlfriend."

Wood then appeared and the two climbed into a car together.

Barton Explains Weight Loss

Mischa Barton has taken to the Internet to address reports about her recent weight loss, assuring fans she has shed the pounds through a balanced diet and exercise.

The actress sparked fears for her health after she was recently photographed sporting a skinny frame.

She writes on her blog: "Just so you guys know, I'm happier and healthier than ever. Things are really well in Mischa world and I've just been watching what I eat.

"I still love my Pilates and yoga, and have cut back on fatty foods a bit. My time in India and Paris really just helped me lose a little bit of weight but there's nothing drastic going on!"

And the 23-year-old maintains that media speculation about her body is actually harmful to her young fans: "I think it's very unhealthy for young girls to read about and pay attention to.

"To my female fans: Just be happy and secure with yourself and don't let other people's perceptions of you dictate the way you live your life."

Fox And Green Split

"Transformers" actress Megan Fox and fiance Brian Austin Green have called off their engagement.

The 22-year-old beauty had been dating actor Green, 35, since 2004, and they announced their plans to wed in November 2006.

However, Fox hinted their romance was in trouble at the Golden Globes in January, when she publicly blasted her longtime love for failing to escort her to the awards ceremony.

The actress arrived at the glitzy prize-giving without Green, which led to questions about where her beau was.

The sexy actress finally said, "He doesn't wanna be here. He doesn't want to be my date. He's a man, he has an ego."

Quizzed further, Fox explained the actor was "probably at home, making music."

And now Usmagazine.com reports the couple has split for good.

A source tells the Web site, "The relationship had run its course.

"They both realized the time had come to go their separate ways. It's completely amicable, and they are remaining friends.

"(They) are both focusing on their careers."

Patridge's L.A. Home Robbed

"The Hills" star Audrina Patridge is appealing for help to find the people who robbed her Los Angeles home on Sunday.

The reality TV star, who purchased a house in the city's Hollywood Hills in August 2008, was "devastated" when she came home to find several of her belongings missing, and reported the incident to police.

But Patridge has vowed not to wait on investigators to solve the crime -- she's already posted surveillance footage of the incident online in a bid to catch the culprits.

She writes, "I had a really rough day today -- I got home late last night and realized that my house had been robbed. It was pretty devastating!

"I spent most of the morning filling out police reports and going through the house room by room making lists of everything that had been taken. Most of the items are replaceable, but they took off with a few very sentimental things too. Definitely not a good way to start the week."

Barkley Jailed

Basketball great Charles Barkley is heading to jail after pleading guilty to two drunken driving charges.

The sports star also pleaded "responsible" to running a stop sign before his December 31 arrest in Arizona.

Barkley has been sentenced to 10 days in jail and fined $2,000. His jail time will be halved if he completes an alcohol counseling class.

Barkley will begin his sentence on March 21, according to TMZ.com.

De Rossi Denies IVF Reports

Actress Portia De Rossi has denied reports she is planning to undergo fertility treatment in order to start a family with partner Ellen DeGeneres.

The couple wed last year and was allegedly desperate to have a biological child, with a magazine last week claiming de Rossi was set to begin in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment.

But the star has shot down the rumors.

She tells Access Hollywood, "There's a story around right now about me that could not be further from the truth. (The IVF story) was just completely made up. The baby thing comes around annually. I find ... once a year, you know, whether I deny it or not. ... It doesn't make any difference."

Winslet Laughs Off Playboy Shoot

Kate Winslet is shocked Hugh Hefner wants her to bare all for Playboy.

The Brit beauty regularly strips off for her movies, including scenes in "Titanic" and 2008's "The Reader."

Men's mag mogul Hefner wants to feature Winslet in Playboy, telling reporters: "There's no question we would be interested in Kate. It's a competitive market, more than it used to be, so she would be a most welcome addition in our pages."

But the actress has laughed off Hefner's suggestion, insisting she won't be gracing the magazine's cover.

Her spokesperson tells WENN, "This is not a proposal that would interest her."

And when Web site TMZ.com told the actress of Hefner's offer, she replied: "I have no idea what you're talking about. I don't believe that for one second!"

Spears' Dad Blasts Ex-Manager

Britney Spears' father, Jamie, has blasted her former manager Sam Lutfi, accusing him of giving food spiked with drugs to the singer and wrecking her life.

Jamie Spears, the co-conservator of his daughter's estate since January 2008, is seeking to extend a restraining order against Lutfi and the hitmaker's ex-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib, making it a permanent injunction.

And in an astonishing outburst, he told a court in Los Angeles Lutfi was a "predator" who had given Britney cookies laced with drugs, had tried to "extort" the singer, and fed her lies about her custody case with ex-husband Kevin Federline, which led to her hospitalization early last year.

According to People.com, he described his daughter's life under Lutfi's management as "pretty well a disaster," adding: "When (Lutfi) was in so-called control, she'd lost everything -- her kids and career.

"I believe he's a predator, I believe he's very dangerous to her ... and causes her a lot of anguish and disbelief. We've asked him to go away before, and now he's coming back. We just want the man to go away. Just leave us alone."

Referring to the events leading up to Britney's hospitalization in January last year, he said: "She was told by Lutfi she could have her children for another night. She didn't want to let her kids go because she thought she could have them for another night."

Jamie also alleged Lutfi had tried to contact Britney by text message, and told the court: "Sam put drugs in (Britney's) biscuits."

The hearing is due to resume on Wednesday.

Beyonce Launches Dance Contest

Beyonce has launched an online $250,000 dance contest.

Fans have been invited to submit videos of themselves dancing to the singer's "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" hit.

The person behind the winning entry will receive $250,000 and their video will be shown during Beyonce's upcoming world tour.

The deadline is March 6.

TMZ Boss Defends 'Rihanna' Photo

The head of celebrity news site TMZ.com has defended publishing a picture of Rihanna following her alleged bust-up with Chris Brown, insisting it's important to show "both sides" of the story.

Singer Brown was charged with making criminal threats following an incident earlier this month, which reportedly left Rihanna needing hospital treatment.

Staff at TMZ later published a photo of a battered woman they allege is Rihanna following the incident, and Los Angeles police launched a probe over the leaking of the picture.

Now Web site chief Harvey Levin has defended running the "horrifying" shot, adding that his staff are "not convinced" the image was taken by cops investigating the incident.

He tells Fox News, "It is a photograph of Rihanna that was taken shortly after the alleged beating a couple of weeks ago. We, obviously, believed at the time, convincingly, that it was Rihanna and put it up on the site. ... I'm not saying anything bad at all about the LAPD. I mean, what they needed to do, they felt, was conduct an internal affairs investigation because they felt there was a leak. In so doing ... they did authenticate the picture.

"Chris Brown is not going to just say, 'I'm going to lie down on this one and not fight'. I guarantee you that Chris Brown is going to mount a defense in this case. I know that. He will mount a defense in this case.

"So, the picture is not the be-all and the end-all, as far as he's concerned. ... But what it does do is it puts a face on what both sides really have been kind of leaking out over the last couple of weeks. ... Well, the bottom line is, here's the photograph, here's the end result. And frankly, I think it's pretty horrifying."

Cruz Picked Out Oscars Gown Eight Years Ago

The vintage Balmain gown Penelope Cruz wore to the Oscars on Sunday was one the Spanish star picked out eight years ago -- but never wore.

Cruz, who picked up the night's Best Supporting Actress award, wowed the crowds as she arrived at the Academy Awards in a 60-year-old dress.

She says, "I found this dress eight years ago and I was saving it for something very special."

Chisholm To 'Put Career On Hold'

Pop star Melanie Chisholm is reportedly planning a career hiatus so that she can focus on raising her newborn daughter.

The singer continued to perform even when heavily pregnant, but now she is putting aside her singing to concentrate on her child.

A source tells Britain's Daily Mirror, "Her priority at the moment is Scarlet -- her music will have to take a backseat for a while."

Griffin Sells Memoir For $2 Million

Comedienne Kathy Griffin has landed a $2 million book deal with a publishing house to write her life story.

The "Life on the D List" star, 48, sold the rights to her memoir at an auction last week to Random House's Ballantine imprint, reports the New York Observer.

Griffin got her first laughs while touring on the Los Angeles stand-up comedy circuit in the 1980s, before she became a well-known TV personality and landed a role opposite Brooke Shields in "Suddenly Susan" during the 1990s.

Ballantine editor Pamela Cannon has declined to comment on the acquisition.
