Among those achievements, the most prominent one was winning the gold medal in the team sprint at 2004 Athens Olympics. This 31-year-old cyclist won many times and took the podium also during the World Cups, as well as the world championships. Since Thursday, Nimke, along with his teammates, have been practicing before the world championships on the BGZ Arena velodrome.
