| Twenty one years ago there was no al qaida, either. It is therefore, not surprising that a very old organisation like a branch of the Muslim Brootherhood would take hold in Gaza. However, fool yourself not. Hamas did not force a tahadieh on Israel. Barak decided, for reasons known to him, to postpone any invasion of Gaza. Gaza is not a major threat to Israel--how could they be, stateless and foreign and helpless as they are. |
