Keep It Simple

30 December 2005, Friday 10:29 P GMT-08
To put it simply, Family Circle Easy Knitting is now called Knit Simple. There's been a lot of confusion surrounding this, but I believe it really just boils down to a name change.

Family Circle Easy Knitting, Holiday 2005 - Part III

4 November 2005, Friday 3:31 A GMT-08
As I continue my perusal of FCEK, this section finally yields up some designs I might actually like to knit. The theme here is cables and the color blue, two of my favorite things.

Family Circle Easy Knitting, Holiday 2005 - Part II

22 October 2005, Saturday 11:59 P GMT-08
I continue to peruse the latest issue of FCEK. All the patterns in the next section are crocheted and are suppose to be office wear -- some fit right in and others are a bit of a stretch for this theme.

23 September 2005, Friday 11:59 P GMT-08
Apparently, Fall is for crochet. My two favorite knitting magazines have put out special crochet issues. I've gotten my hands on both of them! First, there's Family Circle Easy Crochet which will be published twice a year. This issue has some gre

Monday Night at the Movies

11 April 2005, Monday 11:59 P GMT-08
John and I went to see Sahara tonight.  It was fun -- a combo of Indiana Jones and James Bond crossed with Mel Fisher.  I have never read the novel it's based on (or any Clive Cussler) so I don't know how faithful it was to the book.  At any rate,

22 March 2005, Tuesday 11:59 P GMT-08
It hasn't escaped my notice that there hasn't been much knitting or anything close to it mentioned on in this knitting blog lately.  Contrary to the way it may seem, knitting is never really far from my mind.  As evidence, I submit to you the fact
