1. Sound-off: Is monogamy realistic?
Published: March 15, 2009 - 10:46 a.m. - The concept of monogamy is complicated. We're taught that monogamy is the core of marriage -- a lifestyle that must be followed or else karmic or afterlife punishment will prevail -- and yet so many married people are unable to practice monogamy for the long haul. What do you think?

2. Sex Week cinema: Funny porno puns
Published: March 14, 2009 - 12:21 p.m. - When porn and humor try to mix, the results are usually a debacle. People watch comedy to laugh, and they watch porn, well, for other reasons. That said, juvenile and sophomoric puns in porn titles can be pretty hilarious in a "Beavis and Butthead" sort of way.
3. Guess where Playboy magazine is printed?
Published: March 14, 2009 - 11:26 a.m. - If you said our very own state of Wisconsin, you win! It's true: since 1985, Wisconsin-based Quad Graphics has printed the popular men's magazine. According to Elizabeth Austin, the vice president of corporate communications for Playboy, Quad prints 2.6 million copies of the magazine each month.
4. Milwaukee's best make-out spots
Published: March 14, 2009 - 05:01 a.m. - OnMilwaukee.com isn't suggesting you and your sweetheart get spunky in public. However, it's Sex Week, the perfect time to spontaneously -- or not so spontaneously -- sneak away for a smooch or two.
5. Are aphrodisiacs a myth or actually arousing?
Published: March 13, 2009 - 11:39 a.m. - Aphrodisiacs are nothing if not mysterious. Legend tells us that certain foods and herbs increase sexual desire -- the word takes its name from Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of sensuality -- but science says it's never been formally proven.
6. Green M&M;'s: the original Viagra?
Published: March 13, 2009 - 05:58 a.m. - When I was about 9, a neighbor kid told me, while shoveling handfuls of M&M;'s into his mouth, "The green ones make you horny." I remember feeling extremely astute that I knew what "horny" meant -- it was a word I had only recently learned -- and then I continued to wonder for years whether or not the green candy makes you randy.
7. My life in porn
Published: March 12, 2009 - 09:53 a.m. - Don't let the headline mislead you. I am not, and never have been, a porn star. I haven't even been the pizza girl who ends up in the right "G" spot at just the right time. But, I have dipped my toes into the shallow end of the porn pool.
8. Ode to Bettie
Published: March 12, 2009 - 05:13 a.m. - Like many of Bettie Page's fans, it wasn't until her passing that I found out the sordid details of her existence after she stopped posing for the cameras. I refuse to remember her this way.
9. Spending "Sex Week" in the throes...
Published: March 11, 2009 - 5:50 p.m. - Reading all these "sexy" stories and blogs at OnMilwaukee.com has made me want to spend time in bed. But, it's not what you think...
10. The top 10 stripper songs
Published: March 11, 2009 - 2:34 p.m. - Although men most likely won't turn down a striptease no matter where, when or what the soundtrack might be, you must admit that there are some songs that turn the number from a simple dance into a full-fledged fantasy come true. Though not in any particular order, here's a peak at perpetual favorites at the jiggle joints.

Published: March 11, 2009 - 05:16 a.m. - "Where Did I Come From" by Peter Mayle was -- and still is -- a classic when it comes to providing information for kids about sex. I remember reading this book when I was a youngster, and now I am considering it for my own sons.

Published: March 10, 2009 - 11:27 a.m. - Moving to a new city is hard, and everybody has his or her own personal relocation checklist: a reputable school system, a moderate climate, a professional football team. Before moving from Boston in 2006, Laura Anne Stuart wanted to make sure Milwaukee had a feminist sex toy store. Luckily, we did.
15. Sex Week cinema: "The Opening of Misty Beethoven"
Published: March 10, 2009 - 06:29 a.m. - Pleasure specialist Emily Jansen from A Woman's Touch suggested this pornographic film. Released in 1975, it's campy and interesting, which is more than you can say about most pornos.
16. Parent Posse: Talking to kids about sex
Published: March 9, 2009 - 2:27 p.m. - Because it's "Sex Week" on OnMilwaukee.com, we polled the Parent Posse this month about talking to kids about sex. When do you tell kids about the birds and the bees? How do you tell them? Here's what members of the posse have to say.
17. Foreplay Mondays steam up the start of the week
Published: March 9, 2009 - 11:25 a.m. - This January saw the launch of the Erotic Milwaukee Show's Foreplay Mondays and let's just say that the start of the work week has never been so steamy. It goes down every Monday at the Miramar Theater, 2844 N. Oakland Ave., but it's got the sauciness of a Saturday night. In fact, it's probably the most action you're going to get all week.

Published: March 9, 2009 - 07:54 a.m. - In an ancient episode of "Friends," Ross makes a "freebie list" of celebrities he would like to have his girlfriend Rachel's blessing to have sex with if the unlikely opportunity presented itself. Who would be on your list?

We take a mature look at local video and sex toy shops, area strip clubs, sexy Milwaukee events -- and even some connections between Brew City and Playboy magazine. It's serious, responsible, adult-themed content -- but don't worry, we'll keep it PG-13 in case junior stumbles upon these stories as OnMilwaukee.com turns a pale blue for seven days.
20. Video of the Day: A question from 30 years ago ...
Published: Feb. 10, 2009 - 4:05 p.m. - Thirty years ago today, Rod Stewart hit the top of the pop charts with a song that asked the eternal question, "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?" Here he is performing it in Japan, but he gets bored and switches to "Twistin' the Night Away."
