The final day of Summerfest goes out with a little country-rock bang, as Lynyrd Skynyrd opens a July 5 Marcus Amphitheater show for Kid Rock, who performs Milwaukee as part of his "Rock and Rebels Tour." The show starts at 7 p.m.
Tickets for Kid Rock and Lynyrd Skynyrd go on sale Saturday, April 4 at 10 a.m. for $72 (red), $57 (yellow), $47 (bench) and $27 (lawn). All prices include Summerfest admission. Tickets can be purchased at the Marcus Amphitheater box office, Ticketmaster ticket centers, online at Ticketmaster.com and by phone at 1 (800) 745-3000.
Summerfest also announced a few other headlining acts at various other stages, including Barenaked Ladies on Saturday, June 27, Rise Against and Rancid on opening night, Thursday, June 25, Sara Evans on Saturday, June 27, Femi Kuti on Thursday, July 2, The Roots on Friday, July 3 and Heart on Monday, June 29.
