    • Level Editing Documentation

      • Contains documentation for LithTech's level editor DEdit, the Shogo Objects documentation and some tutorials. Documentation is in Microsoft's HTML Help file format, so you'll need to install/update the HTML Help file viewer which is also available in the zip file to be able to view this documentation. For more information on installing, refer to the Readme.txt file also included in the zip file. With this documentation using Microsoft's latest HTML Help file format, you can find the information you need in seconds. Simply a must download for serious level designers.
System Requirements: Windows 95/98 or NT4.0/5.0 installed with Microsoft Internet Explorer.

    • Shogo Enemy Integration Document

      • Shawn "ARTMAN" LeBlanc teaches us how to add baddies to Shogo. This document discusses the procedure of integrating a new enemy class in the Shogo source code. It doesn't concern itself with weapons, or effects and it doesn't concern itself with actually coding the behavior of a new enemy. It only concerns itself with all the changes you have to make into the engine to make your new enemy available in the game. Programming the actions of an enemy would probably the subject of a future tutorial, and maybe a series of tutorials.

    • Client-Side Console Commands

      • Bunghole teaches you how to add Client-Side console commands to Shogo. This tutorial will explain how to add client-side console command variables to Shogo. I will give you 3 of mine I've added to Tow Arena so you get the idea.

    • Adding New Surfaces to Shogo

      • Bunghole teaches some more cool stuff on Shogo. This tutorial will explain how to make, update, and display new surfaces in shogo. I have also included 2 updated files (ClientInfoMgr.cpp and .h) that you can replace the standard ones in shogo with, and it will work.

    • Adding New Messages to Shogo

      • Bunghole teaches even more cool stuff on Shogo. If you haven't yet worked with messages, it basically works like this: Every update on the client side, it sends a message to the server. The serevr then deals with that information, and sends messages back to the client. Things like your health/armor are stored on the server. If you get shot, the server sends you a message telling you what your new health is. There are MANY different kinda of messages, but all of them are fairly similar and easy to understand.

    • Lithtech Engine chrome mapping tutorial

      • Malcolm Andrieshyn teaches you how to make some nifty chrome mapping effects on props and weapons in the Lithtech Engine.

    • How to Make a Fence, or, What Transparency Means to Me

      • Config_guy continues the madness with some fencing action.

    • Props, or, How to Add Stuff

      • Config_guy helps you put stuff to shoot at (other than opposing players) in your level.

    • ScaleSprites, or, Climbing Pixies

      • Config_guy helps you give all those idiots who call people "fags" when they can't cut it something to talk about.

    • "Show Triangles" in LithTech, or, How Ugly Rendering Can Help You

      • Config_guy gives some hints on how to see what needs to be worked on in your level.

    • Problem Brushes, or, Find 'em and Kill 'em!

      • Config_guy helps you track down those pesky problem brushes.

    • Scaling Textures to Preserve Polies, or, MechaWarrior III
