The golden rule is "don't be an idiot." The following rules help clarify that rule, but it is impossible to spell out every single form of idiocy. So please don't be an idiot.

do not
  • mention being the "first post." Or the "second post." it's an automatic ban.
  • demand credit for a news item that you submitted. you probably weren't the only one, ace.
  • post porn links without a clear warning.
  • post anything hinting at or encouraging warez. use common sense here.
  • post off-topic. no one cares about your broken ankle when we're talking about the cs for the xbox.
  • mindlessly flame someone for no reason.
  • troll esports, xbox, or other cs-related items. you're not here to define which type of community is the best.
  • advertise an irrelevant service or site. go here.
  • leech bandwidth by using third-party images.
do
  • talk about the news.
  • report comments/forum posts that break the rules.
  • unreport comments that you accidentally reported. yes, there is an unreport link under the comment now that you have reported it. really.
  • have a good time.
  • talk about Counter-Strike.
  • post in English or, perhaps, l33t.
sotd reviews

do not
  • post a review that says nothing of value (e.g. "my day is going bad, 1/10").
  • give arbitrary scores.
  • bash other reviews, write your own opinion—don't respond to their's.
bans

A comment that breaks the rules will likely be deleted. If 3 of your comments are deleted in the span of three days, you will be automatically banned. In addition, you may also be banned by a moderator for breaking the rules. So either way, a comment that breaks is a step for you in the 'banned' direction.

Jealous of the people with a huge image and some text under their name? Angry at the people who get to review CS-Nation skins?

Don't be! For only $1.99 you can get these great features and a heck of a lot more. It's called being a CS-Nationalist, son. You help keep the site up and running, we give you some cool bonuses over the rest of the comment-posting population.

For the same low price of $1.99 you can upgrade any of your friends to CS-Nationalist status as well!
