The Humphrey IMAX Dome Theater at the Milwaukee Public Museum is a six story, domed screen and is the only one of its kind in Wisconsin. The awe-inspiring theater gives viewers a sense of being in a film.
In 2006, the Daniel M. Soref planetarium was added to the dome theater, providing an immersive astronomy experience. The planetarium features a full-color Digistar 3 projection system, state-of-the-art digital imaging and 12,000 watts of surround sound.
