It is found in Australia and on the island of New_Guinea. This Possum looks like a black and white Squirrel, its size is between 25 and 27 Cm long. Its fourth finger is larger than the others and uses it to take Beetles and Caterpillars out from trees' barks. The Striped Possum can only be found by hearing the sound it makes chewing and drinking in the forest. The Striped Possum is one of the least known marsupials. == References == *{{cite book | last = Briggs | first = Mike | coauthors = Briggs, Peggy | title = The Encyclopedia of World Wildlife | publisher = Paragon | year = 2004 | id = ISBN 1-4054-3679-4}} == External links == *rainforest-australia.com/striped_possum.htm *animaldiversity.ummz.umich.edu Category:Mammals_of_Australia Category:Mammals_of_New_Guinea {{mammal-stub}}
