Health Planning
Understanding the nature and extent of health problems in our community enables
effective program development and resource allocation.
Health Planning staff works with
other Boulder County Public Health programs, assisting them with the systematic collection and
utilization of data for program planning and evaluation.
Health Planning staff identifies existing
data/studies, conducts community surveys and focus groups, and assists other staff in the
interpretation and application of these various data and information.
Health Planning also maintains
current data on a range of health issues and provides this information, upon request, to
individuals, groups, and agencies in the community.
