The story starts off with Kyra Sedgwick's character Emily narrating about having the perfect child. Having sexual intercourse with several men. Then Paul is born. Paul is named after the person who had sex with Emily. Several flashbacks of Emily's childhood. The end shows Emily committing suicide with Paul in the front of her car. But Paul manages to escape. Paul and a girl he is with shows him whispering into a sheep's ear, just like Emily did with Paul. Saying the exact same line. "Don't be afraid, that means there's room for opportunities."
